“…Among the untrodden ways”

Sometimes being willing to explore a little beyond the well trodden path can reveal unexpected gems like this Cumbrian Eyebright. Such fortunity enervates and I was reminded of the wonderful metaphor in Wordsworth’s poem: Lucy:

Cumbrian Eyebright

“A violet by a mossy stone

Half hidden from the eye!

Fair as a star, when only one

Is shining in the sky”
